Pandemic Heroes: Increase the Hazard Pay and Benefits of Filipino COVID-19 Front-liners

Thousands upon thousands of Filipino Health Workers are risking their lives every single day to act as the front line against the COVID-19 virus. However, their undying efforts and hard work are terribly undervalued. Many of them complained about their insultingly tiny hazard pay along with their paychecks. This puts so much disappointment, pressure, and discouragement to a lot of healthcare workers which causes some of them to quit their job as a whole. We, Natirgna, wants the general public to realize and appreciate the true value of our front-liners. By signing our petition, you can help the public and ultimately the sectors in charge of paying our healthcare workers to realize and appreciate their true value and pay them accordingly.

Explanation of the Problem we want to solve

The problem we want to solve is the continuous low hazard pay and delayed benefits of our COVID-19 front-liners during the pandemic. Our front-liners are the threshold that guard us from the deadly virus that is COVID-19. Hence, it is only right that they receive the profits that they truly deserve.

What we want to achieve

Through this petition, we aim to achieve our ultimate goal which is for the government to hear our calls and increase the hazard pay and benefits of our front-liners for all their hard work, dedication, and sacrifices during this struggling time.
